I just picked my 2005 GT from my local Ford dealer for its 19th annual service there. The master tech said XT-75W90-QGT oil has been superseded by XY 75W140 QL oil. Accurate? Input appreciated. BTW-39,000 miles. -Gary

35,000 miles on my 2005 and 4,000 miles on my 2019 GT. It's hard to believe that I've had the '05 for 15 years!!

I've had my '05 GT for 14 years and 35,000 miles. All of the service has been done by my local and delivering Ford dealer as per the maintenance manual. Does any member have any information about when to replace the coolant hoses?

A good friend of mine in Villa Park, CA just bought a "new" 05 GT. She doesn't think any service has been performed. Any thoughts on dependable service in this area would be appreciated. -GWB
