With a rumored 300 units per year and 1,200 max worldwide build most of us even those who can afford one will not be able to acquire one. Most will sit in collections, next to the 05-06 GT's. Ford would be crazy to price these at $250k, as the market would easily pay $500k and up.

Compared to other super cars like Ferrari & Lamborghini, I would have to say that in general, replacement parts for the Ford GT are MUCH CHEAPER than those cars from Italy. Maybe in 5 to 10 years it may be a different story though.
