    It sounds like an incorrect door ajar switch input to the smart junction box. Can easily be identified what switch is at fault with the Ford IDS diagnostic tool. The concern needs to be present when checked. The concern will not leave a fault code.

    I have not heard of this specific concern on a GT but blend door actuators are a common failed part on many Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. They have the same symptom that you are experiencing. The GT has four actuators and are not interchangable with any other vehicles.

    I have experience with the Red Line product in a comp dragster it worked very well . However in my oppnion your GT will be just fine with the premium gold coolant that came factory in your super car.

    #7 cylinder is on the drivers side third one back. Try this switch the coil with the rear cylinder next to #7 that is #8. clear the code and drive it. If the concern now goes to #8 cylinder you simply need to replace the defective coil. The coils do fail occasionaly.

    The most common cause of your concern is a faulty relay. Just swap the fuel pump 2 relay with a wiper relay below it ( they are the same) and recheck to see if your concern is still present. If concern is still present It will not be so simple to diagnose. Most likely the pump or an overheated...
