Have you thought of a rental/loaner plan for the pulley pullers? Most people will not want to tie up the money in a puller they will only use once.

We thought about loaning the tool out but we get multiple orders weekly and would have to have at this time at least 5 on hand at all times. What would be a good rental fee plus the customer had to send them back.

If the tool costs $100 how about hitting the purchaser's card for the total and refund $80 upon timely undamaged return. You could do a blockbuster and charge $20 per week after it is out 2 weeks.

The tool's retail is $119.99. We can just raise the price $50 for tool rental which will include a label to ship it back to us. This will give the customer a 5 business day use of the tool. If the tool is not showing in route via UPS within 5 business days the customer will be charged an additional $69.99 which will basically pay for the tool in full.
