Quite possibly the understatement of the year. 'Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar to many "buzz killers" lurking in the weeds (literally in some cases) at an even like this...and no roll cage present to act as 'middle man' either.

To pirate an old expression, "The are old motorcycle riders, and there are bold motorcycle riders...but, there are no old, bold motorcycle riders".

Thank you for the link and heads up on this documentary. Very cool. One of my FGT ride and handling teammates was always talking about this amazing race/event (he was a Kiwi). I really like cycles of all kinds, especially road racing...bummer I am having to put my street bike away right now for winter. Awesome you got to witness this racing! I will have to get to this race soon before it gets shut down for one of many reasons that wouldn't let it happen here.
