windshield a/c vents

Hey guys.

My windshield a/c vents isn't closing properly which causes my windshield to moist. Does anyone here know how I can access the flaps in the said vents? DO I need to bring down my whole dash just so i can access them (i hope not!).

You can remove the vent at the exterior of the gal at her boot and with a long tube spray the moving arm however if there is a failure within then the system would have to be removed; FYI the system cannot be moved as a component but rather it is attached to the dash as such the dash must be removed and the a/c unit comes out with it.
