well we dyno'd the car last night with the 23 lb pullley, we exhausted the fuel pumps(they were running at 100% duty cycle) so we ran out of room to tune the car at that point. the car made 786rwhp and 740 tq, not a big gain considering it was making 770 and 730 with the 21lb pulley and pump gas. I will be adding headers to the set up as I believe this will result in more hp(how much? who know?) but at 23lbs of boost and all that pressure the motor is working harder and harder to spin the sc especially if the manifolds are restricting the flow and causing back pressure. so hopefully I can unleash some of that power via the headers. I have read previous posts about the headers not making that much of a difference but I think at this power and boost level that may not be the case. I guess we'll find out when I get the fuel system and headers. just thought you guys might be interested in this info.:cheers

So what are your plans for the fuel system?

Soroush I love the color of your GT as it is the fastest!!! I am looking forward to your results. Man I am getting the itch to get a Whipple and a 21psi pulley. Does the Whipple come with a tune ready to roll?

No blackice the whipple does not come with a tune, and you wouldnt want it to, It would be best for you to find a good tuner in your area that has access to a dyno and experience working on fords, particularly on modular ford motors. you will be happy with the whipple as Im certainly not the first to go this route but I believe most that have gone this route are very happy.

I think you meant to reply to Black GT. Anyway, Whipple does have a "canned tune" via a Diablo Predator, but as you stated using the services of a good tuner with experience with supercharged mod fords would be the best choice. That said, a canned tune from Whipple would be better than a using the services from a tuner that didn't know his, or her stuff.

21 deg timing, c112 race gas VP, air fuel below 12 to 1 usually around 11.5 to 1.

Any updates on the 23psi pulley and boost a pumps?

I went out this sunday for a little spririted run with some friends, and I can tell the car is a lot faster that when it was making 770hp and 730tq , the night when we dyno'd the car with the 23 lb pulley we had made 7-8 pulls on the dyno, and on the last pull the car made 786hp and 740tq, I cant help but to think that heat soak may have played a factor in altering the numbers on the dyno, anyway I have ordered the boostapumps they should be here this week and I just ordered headers they should be here friday, so I will have fun saturday putting this stuff on.:cheers redyno ? dont know maybe middle of next week.

Right on man we are so on the same page. Hey why don't you throw a small dry shot of nitrous on there. Chemical intercooling anyone ? :biggrin:biggrin

Soroush, You should only look to older owners for advise on speed and HP only because we've been there way back in the past. The young members will get you into trouble. Ha Thats why I can't follow Dave, Camelo and Tmcphail, Shadowman and others. Yall are out of my class i'll have to follow yall up the mountain and order food last. Tomy PS See a Doctor Ha Ha.

I have contemplated going with a nitrous setup for a long time, my reservations were how will it look under clam shell, I dont want it to look like a cheap after thought set up, and what happens when I run out of nitrous and where would I mount the bottle, I love the cheap power nitrous provides, I just dont like the cheap everything else, and If I were to do a nitrous setup It would have to be a direct port multiple injection site kind of deal, and well, Im just warming up, give me a few weeks.:biggrin
