Where to get an official letter of statement

In order to import and register a LHD vehicle into New Zealand without having to own and operate it in the USA for 90 days the LTSA (DMV equiv) requires a formal letter from someone at Ford to confirm:

1) There were fewer than 20,000 made in any one year
2) There was none designed for RHD
3) The FGT is a high performance car
4) The FGT is a rare collector type car
ETC.

Does any know where a letter like this could be gotten?

Thanks in advance,
John

Hi Neil,
A guy in Wanaka is looking to buy a GT from California and in order to bring it in under the new rule without having to own and operate it for 90 days he needs some sort of official document or letter stating a few specific facts. He does not know who to contact to get this. I'll let him know to contact NZ Ford since he knows the VIN no and see if they can help.

Hey Manfeild looks like a nice race course. I just might head up there. Is it a one day race on the 1st?

Hi John
Yes it is a 1 day event, practice and qualifying in the morning and race start at 12.30 finish at 4.30 on the 1st of may.
Manfeild is a great track to drive,we will be in pit garage 4
Hope you can make it it will be great to have you there.

SVT should be able to give your freind the statment for the amount of GT built and the fact that they were not made right hook,he can get copies of publications stating that it is a future collectable and is a 2 door supercar from magazines etc
:cheers
