I was watching flipping through the channels and couldn't find a thing that was positive. What happened to the optimists? Shouldn't we hear the good and the bad? I haven't watched the news in detail for a few years because of this monopoly on pessimism, but just channel surfing can have someone begging for antidepressants, and Lorazepam :frown . I don't know about you, but I could match every negative with positive...ten fold! Even the news papers are biased. The image below is of a news paper that has all negative articles cut out... the only things left are ad's. The thing that bugs me the most is how the media undermindes our Men & Women in uniform! No war is popular and im not giving my political point or view on the war, however have you ever seen a country so devoted to lose;both at home, and abroad? Its interesting... the first use of televised news in war was the Vietnam War and ever since, the will of our citizens has been reduced to a TV remote and a lazy boy chair! Why have we surrendered our will to question; are we all apathetic sleeping sheep? Why do we allow a "media created" pseudo-reality to permeate our collective conscience to the extent that "we" cannot distinguish between extremes? I say let the burden be carried by those who watch. If its that important you will hear about it anyway. Thanks for taking time to read I just had to brain storm. ~ Rob :cheers
