Virginai Intl Racewya is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this weekend. They are hiolding Vintage races all weekend. All I can say is wow!:eek The History is amazing to see. I will post more when I covert the pics but here is a tease...

The 66 GT #1049 was owned by Gulf VP Grady Davis who funded the Gulf team in 67 for LeMans wins in 68 and 69..... Yes it is a different color blue :wink

There were 2 other GT-40's also there. A 65 GT MK I and a GT MV which was on the track. During the lunch down time I followed the 65 GT MK I around the track during the charity laps.

The best part of the day was getting Mr. Shelby's autograph when he was in the paddock looking at a 58 Scarab.

Thanks Shadowman for rushing out the pocket cover.... here it is signed as promised. This is now the best part of the Mac Delete proejct. :banana

I'll post the other vintage cars later..... Time to take out the console!

Bony I've been a few times and always have a blast! Until last year I had family in Carmel, but now they are a neighbor of FlorIdahoChris. So going will take a bit more effort for future trips but as you know the event is worth it.

Frank, the seat covers are great, the Speed Lingerie Bra is great w/ mirror covers of that I give you credit but looking at the post - you are right, three colors are two many.

So I removed the plaque and quess what - I'm back to basic Black and Silver :cheers


Anyway to complete the posting here are another few pictures. Remember - all these cars except for the Maserati, GT #1049 and the others in the barn were actually raced this weekend. They might be worth $M's but the owners still drive them!
