Vintage GT40 #1109 Wrecked?

I was told a vintage GT40 #1109 was wrecked by Vern Schuppan while doing an exhibition at the Melbourne F1 race recently. Does anyone know if this is true? :frown

I think the rumor someone told you must be a mix up since the guy who owns that GT-40 didn't crash it last week he crashed a Lola T70. Although he did drive the GT-40 at that event.
