Hey guys, I tried to read a lot of the old messages on tire selection and I know it's been beat to death but I need some help. With Torrie's recent tune, I'm getting wheel spin when the boost comes on in 2nd and 3rd. I currently have CCW Custom Black Wheels, Nitto Extreme Drag Radials NT555 275/30ZR19 Front
305/35ZR20 Rear. The rears are getting worn. I'm making 845 on pump and 945 on 100 octane. Any thoughts? Thanks as always.

Well than, a educated right foot, or a smarter boost controller. You are already running pretty sticky tires that will fit in the stock size wheels.

As Torrie always writes, you never have enough HP, just not enough traction.

I run the 345/35R19 Bridgestone on the rear and it definitely doesn't spin on pump gas in third. Depends on the conditions whether it spins in second. I would think those Nittos are pretty sticky though.

The 20" rear wheels really limit your tire choices. There is little serious rubber available for this size. R888s and Trofeo Rs are available, but only in a 30 aspect ratio, which makes the tire diameter smaller than what you have now. This might make your traction problem worse.

19" wheels are a much better choice, as Hoosiers, Bridgestone, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup, etc. are available.

So you want stickier tires, but you still want wheel spin? :confused

Noooo... As blackice recommended ... "Educated right foot ". I was saying I can have an educated right foot and ease into the throttle and I won't spin. However with aggressive throttle , I spin . I was saying what's the fun if I can't be aggressive and not spin... Meaning I want to be aggressive and avoid spin.

Get the 20 inch Mickey Thompson ET Street radial II. I use the 19 inch at 1100+ and it hooks second gear on the street

Traction control is an option. Kevin Kesterson is currently installing a Pro Efi on a Twin Turbo Black/Silver GT that will provide traction control over at M2K Motorsports....

You could have just clicked the link I gave you.

Actually, their system didn't look too good to me in their video. Stutter spin doesn't seem too healthy for the driveline. Maybe it's supposed to work that way, but...
