I predict that the ZR1 prices will fall around MSRP or only slightly more, if the rumors of the production stoppage is false.

Have seen a few ZR1s now in the $130's. Have not seen any FGTs advertised on the $130's. This trade is VERY unlikely

Been a member of that forum since 2002 (more of a lurker) , I had to post.

A Zr1 is appealing but no way for a GT.

In fairness to the various Vette site posters, even they admit it would be a very bad trade for the GT owner. OTOH, the ZR1 owner could find numerous salvage title cars at that pricing, and he may be no worse off in the long run (and I'm not kidding here) because I have to believe the ZR1 pricing is really going to take a dump long term. A tight-rebuild-salvage GT won't ever approach a non abused GT, but over the long haul as more GTs disappear, they may actually hold up more than the ZR1, unless ZR1 production drops precipitously. Again, I'm speculating on a salvage GT owner paying up to get the ZR1, but I doubt if even that will happen.

What???? There are forums for other cars???? Learn something new everyday. :biggrin

Where is the contact info for ZR-1 guy? I want to hear more about his offer. I think maybe we could pull a separate deal for this bridge I own in Brooklyn. :lol
