Bus I think generally means one you'd hop onto and pay to go a shortish distance (London double-decker bus for example), a coach would be a single decker with a pre-paid ticket and normally long distance.

Clarkson makes fun of all car makers - particularly when the cars are no good.

The best one I heard why his explanation of why the French were burning their cars. I think Clarkson makes the show.

Years ago I made the mistake of referring to a UK coach driver as a bus driver...but only once! One of our favourite passtimes in London is to ride the top front seats of the double-decker buses, and marvel at how close they come to obstacles without hitting anything.
