Yeah, some owners want to keep a set of original tires and I totally get that. I just wouldn't advocate that someone buys these with the intention of driving on them! We have an absolutely cherry of a GT in the shop right now. Midnight blue, no stripe and only 1300 miles and bone stock. We just installed a set of Bridgestones but owner rightfully asked to keep the Goodyears.
I've been keeping one front and one rear Goodyear to mount on cheap wheels, for emergency spares. Only problem is I haven't found cheap wheels (REALLY cheap).
I first tried to sell my old Goodyears and then tried to give away. No interest in tires and then after storing for a year decided to recycle the 10 year old hockey pucks.
