Itinerary says start at 9-9:30 tomorrow, but if you want to get a later start, that's up to you. Denbeste will be serving coffee & donuts at their facility for us, so I told them we'd be there around 10-10:30. All the Ford power in there is a really phenomenal sight.
The Valet at the Fairmont has both the short and the long routes available. Both routes include the path to Denbeste, and then diverge from there.
Thursday September 5th
Please be cautious and obey all traffic laws. Especially on HWY 1, full attention is required. Take your time and remember that the stunning views are usually best viewed from a designated parking area. It’s a long way down to the Pacific.

Thursday September 5th
- Time: 9:00 – 9:30 AM
- Location: Fairmont SMI
- Event: Group Departure to the Denbeste Collection/Denbeste Motorsports for Road Drive Launch, coffee and danish
- Full Route from Denbeste:
- This route is ~240 miles including the journey to Denbeste, and it will take a solid 5 hours to complete. It is very scenic and includes several sustained sections of pristine twisting blacktop through the base of the mountains, across a redwood state park, and then down the Pacific Coast. If you leave the Fairmont SMI between 9-10 AM, you will likely be back around 3-4 depending on how stops for fuel, photo ops, etc.
- Short Route from Denbeste:
- This route is ~135 miles including the journey to Denbeste. It’s a much quicker trip for those that don’t wish to make a full day of driving. It includes a really nice scenic drive through the Russian River valley, and an extremely scenic section of the HWY 1. I completed the route during Labor Day weekend traffic in ~ 3.5 hours
