After fillup on 3 occations car has stalled when coming to stop. I read the posts on this subject and inspected the "flap" at the fuel filler door. Noticed that it sticks (does not close fully) when opened and closed. Can hear a "click" every 4 to 5 cycles of opening and closing indicating a positive seal.Took car for ride after positive seal was heard and all seems fine. Question: Do you think this is the problem ( positive sealing of pipe)and if so even if new pipe is installed, wouldn't this happen again over time to a new fuel filler pipe. I have 7000 miles so I figure the tank has been filled approx. 70 times. Isn't this just a poorly designed feature that over time will repeat .All comments are welcome.
