The perfect idea for the FGT, plates that change their numbers, this should be an American invention

It was done long before on a Aston Martin driven by James Bond.

A long standing "local" tactic is having plates that read random sequences of 8's and B's ,or I's, and 1's etc.

You just gave me the best reason for a custom plate.

I wonder is 8IB1B18 taken yet?

'Hate to break it to yew boyz, but, if'n LEO's wanted to nab yuh, a description of the car and their best guess of the plate dumped into a computer would pbly nail yer butt in a short-short... if only kuz there wouldn't be but a couple of people who'd have a plate anywhere near that screwy.

Now if they could invent somthing to change the car to appear to be somthing else...

Now that I think about it I did have one guy ask if my FGT was one of those new Shelby's he heard about. I just explaned the stripes are not as wide on the Shelby
and it is an easy mistake to make

Last year I was stopped by a LOE in northern Idaho. They had received a call that a grey Ferrari was "going way too fast" in a residential area. I replied that I had not seen a Ferrai that day, but would let them know if I did see one later that day. The LEO was a bit perplexed with my response, and caually mentioned that the caller "could have" easily mistaken a FGT for a Fcar, and they would be keeping an eye out for me. So it was a max of 25 mph for the rest of that weekend.

As rare as the Black/Stripe delete GT's are, there are at least 6 in the general Orange Co area.

"It's all alledged officer!"

Plausible deniability :eek

If and when I get stopped in the GT, I'm going to give the LEO my Jaguar insurance card. See if he catches the mistake, or if I get out of jail free.
