Shelby GT500: 2013 or 2014?

I've seen many recent posts from GT owners who also have a GT500 in the stable. I am interested in doing the same. Any advice on a 2013 (maybe signed by Shelby) used vs. a 2014 new? Each rendering is see of the potential 2015 Mustang makes me think a '13 or '14 is the way to go, at least for the next few years.

I appreciate your help and insights. Thanks!

Along with the FGT , I have a 2011 Shelby GT500 (it is the 5.4L with 550Hp) . The item of interest with the 2013 and 2014 for me would be the Bigger displacement motor and 662HP..
Input from my Ford dealer last week is that the 2014 may be the last of a V-8 of that 'large' (5.8 L) displacement for a while.
The new 2015 will all be smaller motors.

DBK posted within the last few weeks that the next SVT Mustang will be interesting and exciting. I went for the '14 for the reason Andy shared, last year of the "big block." It is a totally different car than the 2010 GT500 I had. Handling, power, and feel all different. I love it. The '13 and '14 are essentially identical. The optional paint color is different for the '14, as are the illuminated door sills. To me it was a toss up on '13, last year for Carroll, or '14 last year for this rendering of the Shelby Mustang. Best deal may be the way to go on a choice; but I am always leary of a used performance vehicle, unless I knew the prior owner, or could get some info on him/vehicle.

No real difference between 13 and 14. I have a 13, my dad has a 14. 13'/14' GT500 remind me alot of how it feels to drive the FGT. New SVT Mustang will look/perform awesome, but it's a very different car.
