Yeah, Mr. Lunn is a man of consequence. I've read about him for years. It was a privilege to meet the man. A big thanks to MartynL for setting this up.

Do you see a resemblance between Lunn and CobraR?

Roy Lunn Lunch

Tribute lunch for Roy Lunn & GT40, included a Show Of Ford with nine Ford GTs including CP4, nine Cobras including an AC-built aluminum FIA model. At almost 91, Mr. Lunn has started work on his fourth book dealing with the environment, sustainability, future cars, etc. I've had the pleasure of spending almost a year working with him to archive his papers, photos, published SAE papers, etc so that down the road we can donate the collection to a research library attached to an auto museum. My relationship with him goes back to April 1964 when he and John Wyer unveiled the Lola-Ford GT (GT/101) to the press in NYC. Photo of Roy with my lunch partner-in-crime Gary Jean, Roy signing Steve Woodbrough's GTX-1 and lunch sign, by Howard Mintz

^^^When the turkey neck starts flapping too much at high speed.

Seven of nine GTs belong to forum members: MartynL, Howard, Neil Ressler, Beach GT, Sinovac, Steve Woodrough, Xcentric. We also had Martin Godbey's CP-4 and Joe Curley's Yellow/Black (at least I don't think they are on the forum).
