Rally 5 - V.I.R - Who's coming?

Same dates as the Viper Owners Invitational in Salt Lake..... not sure I can make either event :frown

Yes, the drink tab I believe does go to the new members. It's not in the by-laws but a well established, long standing, very fair GT owners rule.

Ed

I think it is fair to say, Ed knows.

VOI in Salt Lake City, same weekend, and VIR is 3000 miles away.

Looking like the VOI is going to win

My car will be barely warmed up it's so close! I'm in.:banana

Viper vs FGT

I just don't see the Viper event being as fun & cool as the GT Rally.

Ed

PS I live out West so going to Utah is easy for me. Driving in VA & NC, especially at VIR, in my GT won't happen too often so the Rally is my choice.

I hope you can make it to the Rally!

Live it up!

We're not here for a long time, but we're here for a good time!

Is anyone thinking of shipping their car from Florida in a car hauler? I'm thinking it might be better than driving the 750 miles. I could then drive my truck and bring luggage and tires. Plan B is to drag my trailer behind the GT. My truck is too small to pull a trailer with the GT on it.

You could look into renting a truck that will pull your trailer with GT on it. Might be less $$$ that having it trucked in. just a thought.

In the past there has been a truckload that goes from FL to and from the rallies. In the past Brian (SuperB) has organized the truck. Manny, Brian, Me and others have participated. Wouldn't surprise me if he takes the initiative again this year.

You might drop SuperB a PM and ask what his plans are this year. On the other hand, if you took the lead you could probably get the ball rolling faster...

I don't know if I am in for the shipping this year, it depends whether my tow rig will be in FL or out in ID. I should know in the next month or so.

Any of those fit MAD! All of the above.

Add me to the list, This has the makings of a great track event. If I remember we can bring other cars

I'll be there. I'll drive up and back from Houston- how to pack a week's worth of luggage for two in the GT????? Maybe I can just smell bad for the week

FedEx or UPS your luggage to the hotel in advance... and then home again after
