I went a few very cool drives. The best one was on the Blue Ridge Parkway. There were some nice days. The traffic was so light & the road surface perfect!

Really enjoyed those pics - particularly as I had been wondering what had happened to ZZ Top.... :)

How were the GT's handling in the wet?

Yes they do!

In reality this road is in a National Park, and they do mow to keep it neat and clean, and for better visability. And not just in parks.

The later due to the fact that there are generally very tiny or NO shoulders on their roads. Which seems to be true for much of the SE USA. As I drive my GT on this Rally V road trip, I am continually looking for that "escape route" for that just-in-case situation. Disconcerting for those of us from the West. However the roads are generally very smooth and well maintained.

We've done about 1,500 miles on two lane roads, so far, and as compared to "our" two lane roads they have 10-15 mph higher speed limits. And a few times we're driving the GT's well below the posted limit, more than likey due to our conditioned habits from back home.

I'm SOO envious. Wish I could've been there. You guys are lucky dogs. Looks like everyone had a great time!
BTW, who took home the Matech print by Camillo? That piece was beautiful.

On some of the roads it was posted at 55mph with no corner speed posted & even in a sports car it was risky to do 55. Great roads!

Correct. I spent a lot of time around those cars while getting fluids changed. Donnymacs car was pretty neat (chrome wheels as I recall) Rich's car has endless possibilities.
