We ran ours pretty hard in the rain for a few days...Here is a shot at Pukekohe race track during the monsoon...150 MPH+ down the back straightaway on a flooded race track (they actually stopped the race because the rain was so bad.
It pretty much was haha. That photo came courtesy of John Lamm from Road and Track Magazine.
On the Targa rally there are two stages at race tracks. This was the first race track we went to and we absolutely dominated! It was a blast and the in-car video footage came out really well.
They actually had to stop and restart the stage due to the amount of rain that was coming down. The rain was so bad that 50 gallon steel drums from the pit lane were literally floating down the track and pits. There was easily one to two inches of standing water in some parts of the track.
Yes you can - but you haven't seen BLUE after the race, which had finished "a little earlier" for our successful MATECH Team. Car was totally shredded...
These cars (especially with org. wheels) are NOT intended for use in rain !!!:frown
(only in case you don't care about a clean car e.g. like 1of19 (sorry E.) :wink (he drives it also during winter time and snow) - or you are a racing Pro!
