autoblog is calling the new 350 Vert pudgy

I have to agree...the ducts in air dam look too small

Its need '67 style two center Cibie Fogs or huge Viper fogs below bumper

To me, the pudginess is due to the slab of plastic that drops straight down from the tailights to the rear diffuser/skirt. The lack of any bumper form creates poor finish to an otherwise great look. Not that the fogs would hurt anything.

The back has a pronounced Underbite....that never looks good. Last seen on the Aztek cladding

I hope they change it very soon...the 2004-2007 was much cleaner.

The show car had reflectors going across entire back ( like current Challenger) and it looked great.

Yeah those prototypes (coupe/convert.) were damn near perfect, interior and all. I keep hoping they evolve to that ultra clean appearance before they feel they need a major esthetic redirect.

Maybe I´m just getting old, but the 05-08 models really were true to the prototype in many ways. The new GT350 might be a strong performer but is a step back in the looks department.

Its designer 'Make-work'....I get how the front was redone to be closer to '71 stang, bt the back is closer to '75 Mustang II

Probably someone trying to justify a budget in '08 crisis

Pls fix the next model before camaro eats more sales

No matter how hard I try, the rear end of the new mustangs look awkward.
