Pirelli is coming out with a 375/20-21" sized rear tire and it is tall enough for our gals. Does anyone have the exact dimensions of the tire. Here's a picture just to show 375 is not a typo:

I believe the tire has been out for a while. I was going to run it on my street setup but my wheel manufacturer was backordered on 21s

I would be more concerned about the combined weight of the 21" wheel and tire..

and would they even fit correctly in the wheel well? Also these tires are only 26.9 in diameter, stock is 28.9. I wouldn't even call that close!

I just noticed that tirerack has the GY F1 priced at $561 each! For that price it better be made in 2010 or better!

I think the $561 price is reflective of the fact that the GY F1 inventory represents they are now antique!!!:bored

Just saw the specs of the tire also and yes it is too short so back to Hoosiers or RE050A's. BTW many SCCA T1 racers run the A6 instead of the R6 as the A6's are faster but lasts just as long (according to them) so has anyone tried running A6's on their cars for track and street (in the dry only of course)?

Torrie has bought and used the last of the A6's sized for the FGTs. Another tire that is the same size as the RE050A Scuderia are Pirelli PZero Corsa System. Has anyone tried the Pzeros?

John at Accufab was running the PZero Corsas and I've run two sets on my GT3. Loved them, wear quickly but who cares. I wasn't able to find the wider fornts to match the rears so I went withe the Bridgestones when I needed new rubber a while back. However, Pirelli will be replacing these with new tires soon, but last i checked, nothing anywhere near our sizes yet. I also checked for 345-19's for my Viper, and none yet also. What a bummer.

This tire is smaller than the 355-25-21 pirelli. The 355 is 14'' across and over 28 tall. I Don't understand why pirelli has the 375 even listed when its smaller and shorter?

Here is a pic on a friends FGT of the 355s and some 360 forged wheels.

Hi Mullet!

I'm watching and reading...but seems everyone else are the neysayers here...

To each their own and there certainly are a smorgasbord of tire/wheel combinations tried by many.

details on that build?

Roush PowerPlant, 358 cubes, F2 procharger on e98/e85 1 7/8 to 2'' step headers, 3 1/2 exhaust. Belt driven fuel pump and a set of 80/160lb injectors. Big Stuff 3 standalone computer with egt's, full data logging, all the bells and whisles, and a traction control set up. Will turn like 8500-9000 rpms and make 35lbs of boost i believe.

Im doing a simular combo a little less crazy on the heads though, but with the 4.0 whipple and everthing else is identical exhaust fuel system etc to his build.

The 355's have 12.25 contact patch on the ground as we have messured them on the car. The car above is getn a second set of 20's made and will where a new nitto D.R and they messure 335-25-20 and have 13.5 contact patch and they are above 28'' tall also.
