Nice turnout, about 20 cars showed up. It was a nice day, with nice weather. We will be throwing another one towards the end of the summer, so I hope some of you guys get out to that one. "Saber", where were you? You missed a nice show.

The Official Pace Car:

People started to show up at the meeting spot:

A nice brand new M5 came out to join the fun.

didn't look like the parking spots were wide enough........

Liked the Noble though. What's your thoughts on it? Was in the 10 or 12?

I was thinking of buying a Noble M400, but after researching how difficult it would be to register in CA, under the special vehicle program which is limited to 500 cars a year, I gave up on the idea. I looked at and sat in a car. It is a lot smaller than the GT, but the head room was better.

The pluses would have been:
No smog tests in CA, so I would be free to modify the car
Smaller more tossable car, a kind of large go-cart. Easier to park and get in and out of.

But I believe the GT is faster in both acceleration and top end than a Noble, while also having a better fit and finish, service and quieter.

The Nobles have a heat soak problem where the intercooler get little air flow. Check out www.pistonheads.com for a Noble forum.

Sadly, no GT's showed up. "Saber" was supposed to show, but never did, and he never called, so I don't know what happened to him. Maybe next time. :cheers

Hopefully you're alright and you weren't driving the GT. No serious injuries either I hope.

Thanks for asking, no serious injuries, just many deep muscle bruises.
