While swapping my wheels last weekend I noticed my boots have cracks. How bad is this? Is it a do-not-drive until replaced issue?

You'll also want the lower ball joint boot kits. GT101 and GTGuys have them

Mine were bad when I got the car at 11k miles. Joints were fine. Just replaced a set on a 3800 mile car that were bad. Joints were fine on it too. Fortunately, generally, JEFF, these cars don't see mud puddles and salted roads so the joints fair well.

Order them. I am going through same “discovery”. Most of the guys who have responded to you have the parts, have the knowledge and have done this before. I am finishing the work on my car next month and have 20k in spares, labor and replacement parts. Just write the check and smile, you are one of a small crew! Everyone on this forum is responsible for pointing me the right directions to get my car in drivable condition.

I poked around the suspension few years ago and spotted toast boots all over the place.
Ordered new boots and set off replacing.

I did the lower arm on suspension and toe links back in Feb 2021

Just the other day I noticed the inside toe link boots have a fatigued look to the outer surface...grrr

The pics below are from Feb 2021
Was tricky getting the rings on, but saw a insta vid the other day that someone used a zip tie to slip the rings on to slide them onto the boots
Won't forget that idea next time
