I am going to change my oil in a couple of weeks. I printed the oil change tech thred. I heard that you have to pump the brake and or clutch pedal after oil change can some explain the process and why aswell as any other things that may need special attention.. Thanks guys!!I have never heard of a 2 hour oil change. I used to time my:biggrin self on other cars and could do it start to finsh in less than 15 minutes but i guess that wont be the case this time.

It's more like 3 hours. You hold the gas pedal to the floor for 20 seconds while pressing the start button with the ignition on. This primes the oil system and filter so the motor will not run dry at startup.

My GMC Envoy also will not start with the throttle fully depressed. I guess it might be something on most new vehicles.

Check all of the tech threads on this and oil filters before you start.
