NOLA - Rally 7 Report by Ed

I spent time last week on Bourbon St & at the the track. It will be a fun time at Rally 7. The track is very cool & will remind you of Miller in many ways. The NOLA GM was the Miller GM. We will be able to run the track extension which makes the main straight a 180mph affair! The track is only 15 minutes from New Orleans. I go to LA (not Los Angeles but Louisiana) all the time as my family lives there. I've always wanted to blitz the River Road & backwaters of the state in my GT & now all of us will get the opportunity. Everyone you meet there is so nice.

The ladies will love the stores in the French Quarter & on Magazine St. There are son many places to eat: The Commander's Palace, the Pelican Club, Ralph's On The Park, etc. I was at all of them last week. Of course coffee & beignets at Cafe du Monde. I always enjoy the National WWII Museum & the Civil War Museum which are across the street from each other. There are not a far walk from the French Quarter.

It'll be the same guys we have used for TX & VA. We should start planning on the group numbers, etc now. I'll start a NorCal transport thread soon. I know it'll be you, I & Sandman so far.
