Noise in neutral?

I left my GT running in neutral yesterday and as I walked around the back I heard what seemed to be a new noise. It was the trans chattereing while in neutral. It stops when I push in the clutch or put in gear. Maybe I never noticed before or may I'm developing a trans/clutch problem. Anyone else have this issue or notice the noise coming and going with clutch depression?
Tks,

Mine does it (5K miles) - they all will do it in my opinion. With clutch out, the primary input shaft is spinning.

NGR or neutral gear rattle. Common in Vipers; haven't heard complaints on the GT. Mine is quiet as a church mouse.

First week I got it, andI had the same sound you are talking about. Took it to the dealer and the mechanic says "all race cars make this noise it is normal". He then says, "don't baby this thing its meant to be driven hard, its a street legal race car."

After that day i can't hear the noise anymore. I am deaf from all the passengers screaming fo me to slow down.:biggrin
