Ford GT front wheels.

Did you notice in that video that the wheels on the Shelby GT/SR are the front lightwheel forged wheels from the Ford GT! They are 18" x 9" on all 4 corners.

Chips away at exclusivity and dilutes the gene pool. Chevy did the same thing with the wheels on the 94/95 ZR-1. Displeased me then; displeases me now!

If I end up with a 2010 Camaro, I intend to put the '09 ZR-1 wheels on it!

Sooooooooo, your before-the-fact :slap is hereby acknowledged!:lol :cheers

No issue whatsoever with an individual taking such initiative.

I acknowledged it, but don't understand it. Why the ZR-1 wheels the car will always be in the garage?

SOMETHING has to keep the rotors off the concrete...no?

Yes, but the standard wheels would work just fine, or jack stands would do. You only need wheels to move the car to and from a trailer.

You mean when they put them on the 1996 GS and Camaro SS? That was bad, granted, but nothing compared to the 1991 C4 that got the 90 ZR-1's unique taillights!

That's why I like my 90 Z...unique combo of the old nose with the new rear end. Plus the Lingenfelter stroker motor ain't no slouch. ;-)

If I end up with a 2010 Camaro,

I've got an Imperial Blue SS/RS 6 speed on order that I'm probably not going to take, if you are interested. It's being built next week.
