"The F-150 has stowable steps built into the side and tailgate and a capless fuel system that reduces emissions."

I hope the improved the design and eliminated the stalling problems a few have had on the GTs.

The new Lincoln will also have per C&D, citing the FordGT.

2008 Summer is also when were supposed to hear more on the hydraulic F150 hybrid.

Hydraulic Launch Control

Are you referring to hydraulic launch control? Great technology to improve avg. fuel economy on trucks by 25 -35%.

25-35%?

Supposedly it will be an increased to almost 60 mpg.

60 mpg wi ththat technology would be incredible feat! God bless them if they can, it may be the difference in the ability to sell larger pick-up trucks in California or not. The CAFE revsions are extremely prohibitive even in the revised version.

Well I think I read somewhere that there is a rumor that companies had already started to use Fords Prototype and seeing over 50 mpg. The reason it doesn't use so much gas is because the combustion engine has nothing to do with moving the car just the hydraulics in the car. The great thing about this technology is that hydraulics are not new the industry and not new to cars. The downside is that the engine is so big it can only be used in trucks.
