More Caps & goodies From Prj 321

Hey Guys,
Jake and the fine people at Project 321 have taken on some more projects for are beloved Ford GT's They now have a Power Steering cap to match the others.. below is what Jake sent me.. Sorry I have been traveling abroad and my net time is short.. here's a cut and paste of what jake wrote me..

Brian,
I know you didn't want to hear from me until I finished your
precious door sills ;-)
but can you help me out a little on this one. If we sell some of these
we may be able
to pay the bills long enough to finish the door sills. We just finished
two things, first
the power steering caps are ready to ship and we are offering the whole
set in orange
for the heritage owners. I have attached a photo of an orange power
steering cap
so you can see the new color and see how the power steering cap looks on the
power steering fluid reservoir. Could you post something about this?

The power steering caps are going to retail 150.00 but if you already
purchased a
kit we will sell them for 100.00 so our existing customers can complete
their kits.
The price for the 6 piece set will be 625.00. The cap is going to come
with an oem
power steering cap.

Now the orange is going to be made in limited numbers. We will only be
making
a few sets at a time. Our first two sets are already sold so if any
heritage owners
like them and want a set they should put an order in now so they can
gets some from
our next run.

Think you need to cut back on your staff's daily Makers Mark ration; they are seeing everything in double. Advise what I should do with the extra 20 units. Thanks!!

Talk about perfect timing! Right after I got my Heritage, I contacted Jake about some caps. He got back to me and told me that they were doing a set in Orange AND they had one more cap for the Power Steering Reservoir. I'm in!! I likely have to wait for their 2nd run, but either way, I'm IN baby!! :biggrin

And of course my order for the bottle holders shipped the day after I got my car (one week ago tomorrow!! :banana), I couldn't decide on CF or silver, so Brian shipped me two of each. They should be at my house today!! :wink

I took the car for it's first hard drive yesterday. It's different from my 911 especially in the lack of traction/stability controls et al, and geez, it's W-I-D-E!!! But oh my god I love this car!! The ONLY thing that I can say is WOW, what a great car!!!!! It has amazing power, and slides are so easy to control with the steering and throttle! I don't want to get too carried away, but seriously, WOW!!! :eek

Wow, I can't wait for the new bits!!

Here are some pics of the Orange Caps, including the new Power Steering Cap. I did try to get some of the car paint in the pics too so you could see how it looks with the Heritage. The CF looks great (although it's hard to tell in the pictures). Most Excellent!! :thumbsup

And yes, my kids' car seat is still in the car. Like any great kid and just like his old man, he LOVES this car!! :cheers
