I read on SVTperformance.com that they were 315 nitto drags.

I went to nitto web site, for their 555r drag radial, they only offered up to 18" diam. Are there others available?

Doesn,t make much difference, but it looks like the tree showed him red lighting.

The red light has nothing to do with the ET/MPH that it ran. No one really cares if he won the race.

It looks to be 18" rears (notice how close the caliper sits to the rim, compared to the standard 19")

- Also, why use a after market wheel if the tire would fit the standard wheel???

it was actually a roughly 50 shot

the car will definately do high 9's with good launch

a 30 shot yielded 10.5 at 139 :banana :banana :banana :banana

Piko6,

Absolutely awesome video and run. It looked like the car started to corkscrew a bit when you shifted to second. How stable was it?

I was the driver of Joe's GT at Orlando.. I was asked not to make anymore passes after the second pass..

The first pass I cut a 1.72 60ft and the second one I bogged it ensuring the clutch would last awhile longer!!

It was very stable. The shift from first to second was where you see it slip just s bit but the tires grabbed excellent and I went thru the traps at the top of 3rd gear!!!

Are you sure that was only a 30hp dry shot????
I thought the pulley with race gas adds about 125hp and the exhaust adds 20hp+/- . That should increase the 1/4 mile mph to around hih/mid-high. 130s. To get it into the mid 140s, I would think this would require some closer to 100-150hp shot.
Any thoughts?

Here is the setup:

2.7 Pulley, HP Performance SCT tune, Borla rear exit headers. Compucar Bottle-in-a bag kit (SIlver Bottle) and a .052 jet in it on the second run..Granatelli Coil Packs (Motorcraft 12C plugs) Gap .040!!!

HP on the .039 jet is 723RWHP.. Estimate of close to 800 with the .052 jet!
