So....been looking a renting in Newport Beach or Costa Mesa in lieu of buying a place

Nowhere has private enclosed parking in your unit...even at $2500-3000 rents

Does anyone park exotics in these covered below grade lots?!

3 bay is not happening !

I wouldn't care if everyone did. I would not. My insurance (Hagerty) made me send a pic of my garage!

'Twould appear Pockets' previously much malined parking paranoia has now become a legit condition 'round here. Imagine that...! :lol

Yes, but most of us take our cars out of the garage for more than just loading it into a trailer!

I never leave my car unattended. People do mess with them, not all but it only takes one. :frown

Yup, the wrong one.
Problem is, there are a lot of whack jobs who really resent the type of car the GT is. Why give them any opportunity to deface/vandalize the car (which might be their life's dream to do)?

EXACTLY! I've run into a few at car shows. 'Got the lectures about what the purchase price could have been used for instead, blah, blah.

That'd be members of the, "I'll-never-be-able-to-own/enjoy-wunna-these,-so-I'm-gunna-screw-up-THIS-ONE-just-to make-life-mizzerbull-for-the-1%er-who-CAN", crowd. 'Lovely people all...

My GT got a belt buckle scratch. Guy wanted to see the engine. Hotel lot in Salt Lake.

I saw it happen. It was totally accidental.

So now when folks are around, and I have lots of extra time, I open the engine clam shell.
