The vents on the side are slots about 2" deep if I remember right.

Awesome pics, thanks again. Very useful. I also now see the mirror has a carbon weave. Splendid. Carbon decaling is my middle name.
The pic. of the light cluster unfortunately does not reveal what color the housing has. If you have a picture taken from the top it may be visible.

I've mailed the Hajek museum, but haven't heard from them yet. I found on internet a funny blog of someone making a road trip and finding this very remote museum with to his surprise the awesome GT90. The blog is from September 2015 and the GT90 is pictured on the bridge with its tail fitted and spoiler raised:

I have pictures somewhere of it days prior to shipment to Hajek. repairs had to be made to the curved glass in the roof since some un-intelligent person from Ford couldn't figure out how to open the doors so they pried on the glass and cracked it not knowing the remote opener was laying in the scoop. you can't even begin to imagine what a custom curved piece of glass costs to have made. the worse part is that it got broken before installing it and another one had to be made!

Unfortunately I suppose that's the reason why all attempts have failed to build a replica of this car. The special parts (glass dome, interior, exhaust, tail lights, spoiler and tilt system, mirrors etc.) cost a fortune to make, not to mention the road legal issues. Lights, mirrors and high waist line will probably fail certification.

a kit is being developed of the GT-90

That's awesome! After so many Cobra and GT40 kits it will be a breath of fresh air (no offense). Do you have more info? I have followed 2 people (an American and Australian) who were building a GT90 but both have stopped working on the car. I am not aware of more projects but am quite interested in following it.

So, finished the dome of the car. All glass panels realigned to delete visible gaps (although the real car has door gaps as well, at Goodwood they used black tape to prevent rain getting in via the dome), inner support structure finished and at least a decent looking rear view mirror.

Another thread of detailed under the skin pictures of the GT90 and other supercars in that garage (yes, lots of Fords). Remarks under the thread are interesting as well.

A certain John Vermeersch says about the GT90
"I didnt sell it. Put it back in the barn for the past 5 yrs, going to fix the broken glass, detail the undercarriage, and polish some parts, then loan it into a museum, you will see more of it....also prepping the SUPER STALLION Mustang for the same...."

Quite the projects that gentleman has going on!

I learned from another forum this place is RCR/Superlite Cars in Detroit. Probably these are the people who have scanned the GT90 (that was mentioned earlier in this thread) and may come up with a replica kit of the GT90. They have the knowledge and capability to build a proper working GT90 with performance to match. That would be extremely exciting.

Hit their website, looks like they do some fun stuff.

Yes I have this one, but am rebuilding it since it is very inaccurate.

GT90 interior completed

Started again on my ultimate GT90 model after the summer break (busy in the garage) and just finished the interior. Much more work than anticipated, hopefully engine, chassis and body goes quicker.

Wow!

Ford GT90 model finished!

Happy to report I finished the rebuild of the Maisto Ford GT90. It took me 1,5 years and close to 500 manhours. Lots of detailing is unfortunately not or hardly visible. F.e. I did all instruments with the correct font and the aft end of the gearbox, oil cooler, oil lines etc.
The whole build train is visible here:
