Location of McIntosh amplifier?

Hey guys, my car has the standard stereo system (non-Mac), and I am wondering where the amp is located in the Mac-optioned cars. Thanks!

Inside the head unit, no extra box is used.

The amp is a fairly flat unit incorporated at the base of the big subwoofer in the center of the car. It's a Mac unit labeled special for the GT. Mac optioned cars also have small tweters in the doors next to the midrange speakers.
