can anyone tell me the best spots to jack/ lift vehicle.
also, is 5w50 the oil of choice ? or is 15-50 ok ?

Short answers: NO! Use only 5-50 oil. 'Clearances were designed for that.

There are 4 square "holes", 2 FORWARD of the rear wheels... 2 AFT of the front wheels (and slightly inboard of each) that are there FOR that purpose.

you'll see the 4 spots EP mentions. Eventually I will include the 2 spots behind the rear door jam that raise the entire side of the car on each side to allow the use of jack stands at the (4) mentioned lift points.

5-50 synthetic Ford Oil is what I've been using and the only type I can speak to.

Do a search for past threads on this forum as there is lots of info on this subject. I posted photos last year. If they are not there anymore let me know & I'll repost them.
