If I recall 5-6 years ago when a lot of us were first removing the stock muffler box and replacing them with X pipes, the drop in weight was 40 lbs or so......and that's just where you DON"T want weight on a car....the very back and highest point! :willy

I also thought it was around 40 lbs....56 lbs. explains why I had so much trouble trying to carry it down the narrow staircase in Joeys barn after I stored it there when I changed to the GTG X pipe. Anybody know the GTG GUy x pipe weight?

I can't remember exactly, but I believe the weight savings going from stock to the FRPP M-9430-GTX rear exit headers was in the neighborhood of a very impressive reduction of ~ 70 lbs.
