HMMM. At Rally 8, Special Ed took some pre-Rally folks through a tunnel south of the Golden Gate bridge. There were about 8 of us but I don't think it was recorded for posterity or anyone else's listening enjoyment. Sounds were similar, especially with Ed's "non-stealth" GT.

The tunnel we went through on the Pre-Rally VIII in called the Waldo Tunnel - a little north of the Golden Gate bridge on Hwy 101. It's famous for everyone honking their horns for the echo effect but we pretty much drowned out all the horns with our GT music! The tunnel is also in a scene with Clint Eastwood in the original Dirty Harry movie. There are a few politicians trying to rename it the Robin Williams tunnel. I'm pushing for the name to be the Ford GT tunnel!
