Well, I respectfully disagree with you. Whippled here with a 4.0 litre running a 23 PSI - getting about 830 RWHP right now and coolant shows around 170-175 at speeds. Runs the same pretty much in the city, just puttering around. She's not running any hotter than stock...and when I open the clamshell, it's not a serious amount of heat billowing out at me, not like my 1000 WHP Z06 that's like a brick oven...

Exhaust has far less restriction than stock, and makes far les heat as well.

The car will heat soak quicker with the Whipple, but it is a problem confined to the racetrack. It won't be a problem with the way most people use these cars.

Really nice looking. Reminds me of Ray's yellow Mile GT without the side stripes. The best looking GT's are yellow IMO. And HA!!!!.....I just noticed that this is my 4000th post.

FBA thanks for clearing that up.

Hi Chante it was after meeting you and all the other guys in Le Mans who were Whippled
and seeing your set up that made me go ahead with the upgrades.
Those Flames haha.
Yes I will be careful with the pedal.
Excited.
BTW my Heritage is in next months EVO big article with other Exotica
The test was in the EVO Triangle in Anglesey and North Wales.
Was lots of fun.
Mac P1 and Porsche 918 on the track there also.
I was there for three days.
Be surprised.
That's all I will tell you.

Pretty sure it will be an awesome article! Looking forward to it and what you think of the 4L. David know's what he is doing so I am sure you'll love it.
Are you going cat less? Remember, I was allergic to cats ;)

Looks Bloody Fantastic.

Did you get DDC ECU also.
http://www.kwsuspensions.co.uk/kw/info/kw_ddc/

Both my GT's in with David Jones GT101 being serviced and my Heritage getting 4 L Whipple headers and all the other good stuff.
Hoping i like it better than pulley and tune.

KW upgrade also.

I want to change to 20 Front and 21 Rear but was worried it might compromise ride and handling.
Who else has this setup and what are the tyre options.

Larry it rides amazing on 20/21 this 355/25/21 rear tires is off Aventador 140 tread wear so it hooks awesome especially with my power .. but anything is better than oem goodyears lol. all jokes aside ride is just awesome.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone ! :)

If it rides as good as it looks i will be changing to 20/21
I saw a Porsche 918 in North Wales and the first thing i noticed was 20/21 wheels they look awesome.
Is the front tyre off an Aventador also.

i have put 10k miles on the same 21-20 tires. they ride great and the tires first came on the Ferrari 599gtb...So they have been out for a few years! i had them back in 2009..

No front is 285/30/20 with my specs so its not An Aventador oem tire but its same compound and tread wear. you can run smaller front 255/30/20 then its is oem Aventador tire.

Thanks I know what wheel now I will be choosing and still want to go with 20/21 but some people
saying 19/20 is the best combo because of tyre options and the 20 front tyres can stretch if it's driven hard
on the track. It has never be driven on the track and in reality probably never will but I want to make
sure I make the right choice and setup. Is there anything wrong with 20 front and 21 Rear wheels and tyres on a Ford GT.
Any help would be much appreciated.
