Came across this after watching the post of the GT taking the F430. It's a TOP GEAR video.. NO! not the one of Jeremy driving the RED one... he actually gets into a GT40 and runs it and of course falls in love.... I WANT ONE

As always with videos from youtube,.... I hope this isn't a repost

Like the car Clarkson drives in this clip, I wish Ford had called our cars GT43's.

As we've covered B4 on other threads, 'sure woulda saved a lotta 'splainin'.

(You have a Ford GT? Oh! What year IS your MUSTANG? :mad :smash:smash:smash)

Since the original link is disabled by BBC, and since there's all these new 200+ MPH hypercars, I thought I'd bump this thread with a new link to the original video.

Enjoy. (while it's still watchable). http://youtu.be/nhwaEyL2kPc

Superfly, thanks for (re) posting that.
Ok I'm biased, but $$ aside, I'd still take a 68-69 GT 40 Mk 1 wide body with the mongo Gurney Weslake 302, (or the 67 Mirage). However, the F1 is SO COOL! The rest of the bunch (save the F40) IMHO haven't aged very well.
The F1: me, the trophy-ridiculously young/hot wife to my left, Jr. in the kid car seat to my right, plenty of luggage, and off to wherever we want to go. I guy can dream right?

The F1 is my choice of the bunch.
