Good eye. I hadn't noticed the rear edge of the CF cap before. I don't care for it either.

The exposed rear edge is also present on the Alcantara cover, the picture just doesn't show it as well.

I disagree. I think it looks great. It's going to be a pain to try to keep the alcantra there clean from shoes and scuffs.

On a 05-06 GT it's very difficult to keep the aluminum door plates from getting scratched and smudged just getting in and out, I can imagine how difficult the Alcantara door sils are going to be to keep clean and unmarked or soiled. They are a lot wider than 05-06's. The new GT is going to be somewhat awkward getting in and out of as I noticed Jamal entry in today's video. Interior room is very limited?

I left the blue plastic covers on mine.
