Ford GT's at California Speedway

Hey guys,

I went to California Speedway this weekend for some NASA racing and saw a couple of GT's participating in an HPDE event. Here are some shots of the cars.

Unfortunately I did not get a chance to meet the owner's but it was still cool to see the cars racing around the track!

Guilty, You can not go anywhere with the GT without being caught. Sure was fun! The white with blue is mine and I need more tire.

Your car looked great! We tried getting some pictures of your car going through the chicane before the bridge but they did not come out very well. We plan on attending more of these events in the future. Hope to see you there!

those are great photos. it reminds me of playing gran turismo. Ford GT=Heavenly RPM's. after god made baseball, he made the Ford GT.

Too Fast?

Was the red FGT too fast to get photo'd on the track? - & you could only get the slower white one?

I think RALPHIE is on to something. My thought was the the red one already won the race and was in the pits while the other (white) GT was still competing for second

Ralphie, when I exchange my Goodyears for those slick Hoosiers maybe white cars can be as fast as red ones. Every time I had to slow down to 130mph through nascar 1 and 2 I was extremly jealous. You looked very good going through the buttonhook.

Sorry we didn't get any on track pictures of the red car. We still have some pictures of you from our Willow Springs test though :wink

Our GT should be back in action pretty soon and we will be tearing it up around the track with you guys. We should try to organize some type of meet at one of these events. They are pretty cheap considering what you get to do.
