You really are an excellent "story" writer and I agree with others, I think you missed your calling in life. I'm sorry that you were never given the opportunity to fulfill your dream of flying for the Marines, the Marines certainly missed on the mark by letting you go. Based off what I have seen over the years on the forums, I'm certain you would have had stars on your shoulders had you been allowed to stay. I know that with this program, Ford was never going to make everyone happy just based off the law of demand and supply. It's a shame as I have seen many individuals on this board who seemed like a natural pick for the new NFGT. I just hope these individuals get their chance someday. In the meantime, I'm glad you are one of the first four to take delivery of this vehicle. You certainly deserve it and you are a torch bearer for the fading memory of the American dream; demonstrating that hard work and perseverance can pay off.

Congrats guys. It's been a while and I remember Dave, Chip, Tim Cantrell, Bony (RIP) and others during Rallies 1 & 2. Great to see the passion and excitement from so many of you. I'm enjoying reading everyones posts about the next great American supercar. Keep them coming as we all enjoy the ride and I hope to see you all at the next Ford GT get together.
