After the first practice session the two Matech Ford GTs were 11th & 12th out of a field of 46 entries. Next session coming up this afternoon. Qualifying Sat. am, first 1 hr. race Sat. afternoon with 2nd race Sun. am. .........GO BLU:thumbsup

Not looking too good. There was also a problem with one of the Ford GTs who only completed one lap :(

I would expect that a Ford GT would not be at its best on a tight city road course. It is interesting that the Ford GT is already carrying some ballast after just one race.

Qualifying, 3rd from the pole.......

#43 qualifyed 3rd...Not to bad.....First race @ 5:15 am PST. Sat.:thumbsup You can follow live timing and scoring @ livetiminggt on FIAGT3 site... Finished 2nd and 13th. First podium for Matech GT. Next race Sun. @ 1:45 am PDT.

If I read it right, it looks like the GT came in second in the first race, right after a 430. Looking forward to the second race. Thanks for the web address. John

It's very upsetting to realize that most of this country only cares about freaking "merry-go-round" racing. The people in Europe must laugh their ass off at that stuff. Lots of time on Speed Channel could be devoted to a all kinds of racing instead of 15 different shows re-hashing the NASCAR races, pre-show, after show, after-after show, clown show......:thumbsdow
