Clutch

I just got my 06 GT wihite with blue stripe. Ihave a question about the clutch pedal. I need to release the clutch almost half way through before it is engaged. I was wondering if this is normal? Secondly, how many miles do I need to do before the car is properly broken in and do I need to change oil after that?

My clutch works similarly.
I was told you don't need a break in, but I took it easy for 500 miles and changed the oil anyway.
