I had a clear bra installed on my GT. I have noticed the places where the clear bra was installed now looks like and orange peel finish vs. the flat smooth finish of the rest of the car. Has anyone seen this before and is this normal?
Yes - it has been reported before. Use the search key for more information. The early 3M clear bra exhibited this phenomenon. Later versions seems to be OK.
My early 3M clear shield shows the dreaded orange peel on the large, flat nose piece. I do not notice it where applied to aluminum panels.
