as a side note... After Drilling my gas and oil wells in Pa., I was considering offering one of my 'windy' ridges to a company for a big turbine (or several)
But we also have a large Hawk and Bald Eagle population. I was advised that as the big raptors search the ground for prey , they continue to look down rather than forward as they circle. The are then unknowingly hit and killed by the blades that travel at a very quick tip speed..
