Jack, thanks for posting the pics. They look great, can't wait to get the car back. I figured I would need better brakes with the Whipple, so here you go.

For those guys wondering what to do with their calipers on the Heritage with orange wheels, you can see what I did, powder coated them in matching blue to the body color of the car.

I think they look very nice; add to this I like the fact that they fit with OEM wheels.

Enjoy your uber-beast

Does anyone know anything about Dymag carbon wheels for the GT, sizes, weight, costs?

What is the weight difference between the stock rotors and the light weight Ford Racing rotors. What's the technical difference between a two piece rotor like the Willwood and a two piece floating rotor?

Is there any information to suggest that the Brembo brake change will stop the car quicker?

The rear wheel is 21lbs. without tire and the front is 17lbs. We have noticed a great improvement with the Dymag wheel over factory. We're running 20" front and rear.

On the Ford GT. I weighted them the other day.

What brand/type/size tire are you running? Are those Brembo the GT upgraded ones?

Am I safe to assume the Brembo 6-piston big brake upgrade will not work on the stock or optional BBS lightweight 18" wheels?

Driveby, they supposedly fit, but offer them for the front only because of the e-brake in back.

Not sure the 6 pot brembo calipers fit the front with our BBS rims.
Can anyone confirm they fit or not?

Interestingly enough, by phone Brembo says "they'll probably fit, but won't confirm in writing" and BBS said by e-mail "they will Not fit".

we could always....

Well I guess we need to find someone with 20" wheels to install the kit and then test fit the car with some stock 18's :)

Dymag would certainly be a top of the line wheel for the GT (magnesium centers, carbon fiber rims). I looked into getting some for my C6Z06 but they weren't available at the time so I "settled" for some Kinesis wheels. I would be very interested in finding out if DYMAGs are available for the GT (it sure looks like it in that picture - more please). The Mosler is another car using DYMAGs . Be prepared to spend...
